Pass Plus with ARDENT Driving School - Pass Plus is a training course specifically aimed at new drivers. Statistics  show that new drivers are more likely to have an accident  within the first two years of passing their test due to a lack of driving experience, this is where Pass Plus comes in,

The course aims to build upon your newly acquired knowledge and driving skills. Pass Plus is a training course specifically aimed at new full licence holders, designed by the D.V.S.A with the help of Motor Insurers and the driving instruction Industry.

Pass Plus will build upon your existing skills and knowledge, it will teach you how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards, and can help you to become more confident on the roads.  Anyone who holds a full UK licence is eligible to take part in the scheme. You will not have to take a test at the end of the course but you will be continually assessed.

You must successfully complete all six modules in the course to an achieved or exceeded standard.

Ardent Driving School offers the following training for
those seeking to take the Pass Plus syllabus -

 
6 Hours minimum training broken into individual modules of 1 hour


 Each module covers a different subject, such as  :

Town Driving

Rural Roads

Night Driving

All Weather Driving

Dual Carriageways

Motorway Driving

(Prospective trainees must provide the school with a Licence Check Code so that their current licence validity can be checked by the school prior to training and also provide a Full U.K. photo card Licence when attending the first module of training)

Price for each Module is currently £44.00 each or £264.00 for complete course

After completing the full course of a minimum 1 hour per module, Your Instructor will sign off the training sheet and a Certificate of Completion will be Issued via the Pass Plus Unit of the D.V.S.A as proof of attendance, this Certificate can be used to prove the Pass Plus Course has been completed and to obtain a discount with participating motor Insurers.
